About the role

We are looking for a QA Manager for our product teams. You will manage QA Leads responsible for quality in individual product teams and oversee QA engineers embedded in cross-functional teams.

Your scope includes several customer-facing products across web, mobile, and API layers. You will align quality approaches across these teams, ensure predictable releases, and maintain clear and consistent testing standards.

The role is managerial, not hands-on. However, a strong QA engineering background is required to work effectively with automation engineers, review technical decisions, and keep testing and automation practices pragmatic and scalable.

You will report directly to the Head of QA (Deputy CTO) and influence how quality is built and maintained across the product organization.

Job description

• Manage and support QA Leads working within product teams;
• Align test strategies, priorities, and quality approaches across teams;
• Ensure requirements are reviewed from a quality perspective, with risks and edge cases identified early;
• Oversee test coverage across web, mobile, and API layers, based on product risk and complexity;
• Guide automation engineers in UI and end-to-end test automation, including Python-based solutions;
• Review and challenge automation approaches, frameworks, and technical decisions to keep them maintainable and scalable;
• Ensure consistent testing standards and practices across teams, without introducing unnecessary process;
• Work with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to support your leads and improve delivery predictability;
• Support the professional growth of QA Leads and engineers through feedback, coaching, and regular reviews;
• Participate in hiring and building a strong QA team.

Qualifications

You have:

• QA engineering fundamentals: test analysis, test design, quality risk assessment;
• Test automation at scale, primarily in Python-based ecosystems (UI, end-to-end, API);
• Usability and user-facing quality considerations in product teams;
• Leading QA efforts across one or multiple teams, including coordination of QA Leads or senior QA engineers;
• Reviewing automation approaches, frameworks, and tooling decisions, with enough technical depth to challenge them when needed;
• Improving, aligning, and scaling testing processes across teams in a pragmatic, collaborative way;
• Mentoring, coaching, and supporting QA engineers or QA Leads in their professional growth.

Highly preferred:

• Experience with complex fintech systems such as trading platforms, exchanges, wallets, or other high-load financial products;
• Personal familiarity with trading or financial products;
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and TestOps / DevOps practices;
• Experience applying agile testing practices in cross-functional product teams.
