About the role

We are looking for a Product Owner who understands how BackOffice works in large banking systems. This is a strategic role with full product ownership: you’ll define the vision, craft the roadmap, and drive execution from idea to launch and beyond.

You will report to the CPO and lead the cross-functional team — including engineering, design, legal, and go-to-market — to deliver a secure, user-friendly, and scalable product that aligns with our business goals and exceeds user expectations. Job description

Analyze business processes and requirements in the field of banking operations, risk, compliance, and administration
Develop a strategy for building or reconstructing a BackOffice system based on the current product
Understand how the specifics of antifraud and reporting work
Interact with the development team to determine architectural solutions and interfaces
Form a product roadmap for system development
Create specifications and requirements for the development of new modules and function
Ensure the integration of the system with external services and internal company systems
Ensure the quality of implementation, testing, and successful system launch

Qualifications

You have:

Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in large banks or fintech companies
Deep understanding of how banking BackOffice systems work, including risk management, compliance, financial operations, and administrative panels
Experience in building or scaling BackOffice systems
Understanding of work processes in Accounting, Finance & Compliance, and Antifraud
Ability to manage product strategy and a development team
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business customers
