About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong web testing expertise and solid Python automation skills. You will be responsible for ensuring quality of one of our core fintech products through comprehensive test automation, working closely with the development team to maintain high product standards.

Job description

Design, write, and maintain automated tests for web applications (UI, integration) using Python and pytest + Playwright;
Develop and evolve the Python automation framework, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and scalability;
Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team;
Automate regression test suites to reduce manual testing efforts and speed up release cycles;
Set up and maintain automated test runs (nightly builds, smoke tests, regression suites);
Integrate and optimize test automation in CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable test execution;
Monitor automated test runs, analyze failures, and maintain test stability;
Support and improve the usage of automated tests throughout the release cycle;
Leverage AI assistant tools (Copilot/Claude Code) to enhance productivity while maintaining code quality;
Collaborate with developers, manual QA and infrastructure teams to support releases and ensure smooth delivery;
Work with a model-based testing approach to improve test coverage and maintainability.

Qualifications

You have:

Strong experience in Python automation with pytest + Playwright;
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured automation code following best practices;
Solid skills in test analysis and test design;
Deep expertise in web application testing (UI, integration, end-to-end);
Experience in designing and evolving test automation frameworks with clear architecture;
Proficiency with AI assistant tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) and understanding of their strengths and limitations in test automation.

Highly preferred:

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitLab CI/CD;
Experience with Allure TestOps for test management and reporting;
Experience testing exchange cores, trading systems, or other high-load financial platforms;
Experience with mobile automation frameworks (iOS/Android);
Basic understanding of API testing principles and tools;
Personal experience with trading or using crypto exchanges;
Confidence working in the Linux shell (scripting, log analysis, managing services, troubleshooting).
