About the role
We are looking for a Scala Developer in a backend team. Responsible for planning, implementing and testing product features.
Job description
- Participate in the development of distributed web application and service architectures;
- Develop important product features;
- Maintain the existing code base;
- Develop test coverage for your own code;
- Develop libraries for project use;
- Mentor junior employees and conduct code reviews.
Qualifications
You have:
- Relevant education;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience;
- Scala/Java programming experience;
- Experience with one of the following frameworks: Finagle, ZIO, Akka, Play, or Spray;
- A deep understanding of JVM architecture and its impact on the performance of high-load applications;
- Knowledge of the implementation details of various algorithms and data structures. Understanding how these details impact web application performance;
- A passion for teamwork.
